HVAC Lifeline, operated by TRAITECH LLC, connects homeowners, field techs and HVAC companies with experienced HVAC experts over live video for guidance. By using the site or service you agree to these terms.

Lifeline experts are advisors, not contractors. They never quote, sell or do the work, and they don't come to your home.

• Only do the safe steps an expert walks you through, like thermostat settings, breakers, switches, filters and condensate drain lines.
• Anything involving refrigerant, gas, live high voltage, or work that needs a permit goes to a local contractor.
• If you smell gas, see smoke or sparks, or anyone feels unsafe, stop, leave the area and call 911 or your utility.
• You decide what to do in your home and you are responsible for it. Guidance is given in good faith but without a guarantee that a problem can be fixed.

• Homeowner video sessions are paid one time at checkout, before you get in line.
• Tech Pro and Shop plans are monthly subscriptions that renew until canceled.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• If we can't connect you with an expert for a paid session, contact us and we'll make it right.

Calls, texts and video sessions are recorded for quality and safety. You'll see a notice before every session.

What you'll get: if you opt in, texts about your help request (confirmations, your video call link, scheduled-call reminders and replies from dispatch). Separately, and only if you check the offers box, occasional promotional texts such as seasonal tune-up reminders. Network experts who opt in get application updates and call alerts.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt out any time: reply STOP to any message. You'll get one final confirmation and no more texts. Reply START to opt back in. For help: reply HELP or call (844) 352-9053.

Consent to texts is never a condition of purchase. You can always use the service through your private call page instead.

Be respectful to experts and staff. We may end a session or account for abuse, fraud or unsafe requests.

To the extent the law allows, TRAITECH LLC's total responsibility for any claim related to the service is limited to what you paid for the session or month involved.
